Umplify Technologies Inc. (“Umplify”, “we”, “us”) is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you submit a form on this site, we collect the information you type into it. Depending on the form, that can include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your business name, industry, approximate size, and general location
  • Anything you write in the free-text fields, such as a description of your current challenges

We also collect standard website analytics through Google Analytics, including pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address. We have IP anonymization enabled.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and to have a conversation about whether we can help your business. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in Microsoft Azure in the Canada Central region, which is physically located in Ontario. That is a deliberate choice and we intend to keep it.

Storing your enquiry in Canada is not the same as every system that touches it being in Canada, so we want to be straight with you about the rest. Email notifications are delivered through Resend, and website analytics are processed by Google, both of which operate outside Canada. When we deliver work, we also use AI models and other third party services whose processing can happen outside Canada. In some cases the region is chosen by our vendors and their own suppliers rather than by us, and those arrangements can change as our supply chain changes.

If data location matters for your business, tell us before you share anything sensitive and we will explain what applies to your situation.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for two years, after which they are deleted automatically. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do that.

When you submit a form, you are consenting to us contacting you about your enquiry. Today that means a direct reply from a person at Umplify, not an automated mailing list. If we ever start sending regular marketing email, we will ask for your consent to that separately, and every one of those messages will carry an unsubscribe link. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to any email or writing to sales@umplify.com, and we will action it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email sales@umplify.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
